About GTASixGuide
An independent research desk for people who want GTA 6 facts without the rumor fog
Key Takeaways
- ▸GTASixGuide is an independent, fan-run publication. Not a Rockstar Games or Take-Two website.
- ▸We prioritize official Rockstar material, platform listings, support pages, and corporate filings.
- ▸Observed details, forecasts, and community identifications are labeled instead of presented as confirmed facts.
- ▸Readers can challenge a claim and submit a better source through our corrections process.
Why this site exists
GTA VI coverage moves faster than the evidence. A few seconds of trailer footage can become dozens of articles claiming a final vehicle name, a hidden mechanic, an exact map size, or a release plan Rockstar never announced. That makes it difficult to answer a simple question: what do we actually know?
GTASixGuide was built to make that distinction visible. Our pages connect official character profiles, places, vehicles, weapons, platform details, and dated announcements into a guide readers can navigate without starting a fresh search for every follow-up question. When the evidence supports only a narrow conclusion, we keep the conclusion narrow.
Before launch, much of the useful work is source comparison and uncertainty management. After launch, the same structure can expand into tested walkthroughs, mission requirements, collectible locations, economy data, and performance measurements. We will not claim hands-on knowledge before hands-on verification is possible.
Who publishes GTASixGuide?
Articles are published by the GTASixGuide Research Desk, the editorial identity used for this independently operated site. The byline is intentionally organizational: it identifies the accountable publication without inventing staff biographies or implying access we do not have. Each article links back to our verification rules so readers can judge the work by its sourcing and wording.
The Research Desk is the GTASixGuide editorial team, an independent research publication live since April 2026. Every fact is checked against its cited source, and each page gets a separate review pass before it is published. This is a fan publication. We have no affiliation with Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive, Sony, Microsoft, or the developers and performers involved with GTA VI. Trademarks and official media belong to their respective owners.
How the research works
Start with the original source
Rockstar pages, trailers, screenshots, store copy, support documentation, Take-Two filings, and official platform listings carry the most weight. Secondary reporting is attributed rather than blended into the site’s own voice.
Match the wording to the evidence
Seeing a vehicle confirms a visual appearance, not necessarily its official name, drivability, price, customization options, or launch availability. We separate what is shown from what is inferred.
Add useful context
A source link alone is not a guide. We explain what changed, why it matters, what remains unanswered, and which related page gives the reader the next useful layer of detail.
Update instead of quietly aging
Material changes receive an updated date. If an earlier factual statement becomes wrong, the page is corrected and the meaningful change is disclosed rather than hidden behind a silent rewrite.
