PS5 Features That Are Actually Confirmed

DualSense feedback

Haptic feedback responds to choices and environmental factors; adaptive triggers provide dynamic resistance.

Tempest 3D Audio

Sony describes enhanced and accurate audio positioning across Leonida's soundscape.

Fast loading

The official page says the PS5 SSD enables near-instant load times, without publishing seconds or comparisons.

PS5 Pro Enhanced

The badge is official. The performance, resolution, or visual difference is not yet described.

Sony also lists offline play, one player, Remote Play, and effects through the DualSense integrated speaker. Read the full PS5 feature guide for the source-by-source breakdown.

Frame Rate, Resolution and Ray Tracing

No official source currently publishes a performance-mode table. A page that labels 60fps, 4K, ray tracing, or a specific PS5 Pro mode as confirmed is going beyond the available evidence.

Unconfirmed

Frame rate

No 30fps or 60fps target has been published.

Unconfirmed

Resolution

No native, dynamic, or reconstructed resolution target is official.

Unconfirmed

Ray tracing

Trailer visuals do not establish the final console modes or settings.

GTA 6 Download and Install Size

Rockstar's 24 June 2026 Newswire post says digital pre-orders can pre-load from 12 November 2026, and the physical version contains a download code so it can pre-load too. No file size is published there. PlayStation and Xbox storefronts also omit a final storage requirement.

Why 150-200GB is not a requirement

That range is a community estimate. Compression, language packs, day-one patches, optional high-resolution assets, and platform packaging can all change the final number. Wait for the platform download page before deleting games or buying storage specifically for GTA VI.

PC Version and System Requirements

Rockstar lists PS5 and Xbox Series X|S for November 19, 2026. No PC version appears on the official GTA VI page, and no CPU, GPU, RAM, storage, operating-system, DLSS, or FSR requirement has been issued.

Past Rockstar release patterns can inform an estimate, but they cannot set a GTA VI date. Hardware recommendation tables should be treated as planning exercises until Rockstar publishes a PC product page. See our PC status guide for what is and is not announced, and console performance facts.

What You Can Safely Prepare Now

Choose an announced platform

PS5, PS5 Pro, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S are the supported launch hardware.

Use wired or stable broadband

The physical box also uses a download code, so every version requires a substantial download.

Wait before buying storage

The final file size is missing; choose general-purpose capacity rather than a rumor-specific amount.

Ignore exact performance promises

Wait for Rockstar documentation, platform-holder details, or final-code technical reviews.
