Rockstar says digital pre-orders can pre-load from 12 November 2026, and physical code-in-box copies are available from that date. No start time and no install size have been published on any Rockstar, PlayStation or Xbox page we read. Any figure such as 150 GB is a guess.

Physical copies
The physical version is a box containing a download code inside the box (Rockstar Newswire, 24 Jun 2026). It is available from 12 November to support pre-loading, so it is a download, not a disc: a boxed copy does not skip the wait.
