Sony announced two limited edition GTA VI DualSense controllers on 3 September 2026, one black and one white, at $84.99 in the US. Pre-orders opened 10 September and both ship on 19 November, the game's launch day, in limited quantities. The black one is sold only through PlayStation Direct where it operates; the white one also goes through participating retailers. Neither is bundled with the game or a console in Sony's announcement.

For comparison, SlashGear puts a standard US DualSense at $74, so the limited editions cost about $10 more. Status: Reported by SlashGear, not read on a Sony price page.

Check the seller before paying a resale price: the controllers do not ship until 19 November, so a listing that promises same-week delivery is not what Sony announced.

Sony describes them as DualSense controllers with the standard feature set, not the DualSense Edge (SlashGear, Reported). Whether it is worth $10 over a standard pad is a question of looks alone on those facts; Sony states no functional difference.

What changes this page

A restock, a new region or a price change from Sony is added with its date. The pad is for PS5, so storage and the editions and pre-order terms are the other purchases to plan; the PS5 features page covers what PlayStation lists for the game.
