Before launch day
- Decide on the edition and buy before 20 November if you want the Vintage Vice City Pack: editions, prices and bonuses.
- Free the storage. Rockstar has not published a size, so do not trust a number from a site that has no source; the preload tracker will show the size when a platform page carries it.
- Understand the physical copy: it holds a download code, not a disc (what that means).
- Know the pre-load rules: preload and region rules.
- Check what the PlayStation page lists for PS5 and PS5 Pro: PS5 features and the console performance status.
On launch day
